Brian Head Mountain

Luckily Tyson got two days off of work this week so on Thursday we went up to Brian Head to go four wheeling with the Talbot's. We had so much fun just being up on the mountain and hanging out with them. They always make us laugh! And we are grateful for Tonya and Brent for letting us borrow their four wheeler and truck!!!

We went out to a spot where you could look out. It was so open and  pretty.

He loves my kisses! Can't you tell?

July 4th

For the fourth of July we went to Minersville Reservoir. It was fun to just hang out with family and soak up the sun! Thanks to Cory and Autumn for bringing their boats.

Once we got back into Cedar, Rose and Layne with their family came to see Les Miserables. We went to Applebee's for dinner and then they all went to the play except the two youngest boys. So we went and got ice cream and watched the fireworks.

This is such a great country to live in. I love that I am free to do whatever I please!

Hiking

On Saturday Tyson got a lot down around the apartments while I slept in and hung out. Around 3 our friends Matt and Mandy invited us to go hiking with them. Well it was HOT! And I am OUT OF SHAPE! Like terribly out of shape so it wasn't that fun for me! ( It really wasn't that bad now that I think of it! It was just hot and not enough shade.) To reward ourselves we went to DQ after!

Later that night we went to the Green Show that the Shakespeare puts on. It was interesting and something new. After that was over we went and watched the new Sherlock Holmes. To say the least it was a pretty eventful day!
I love spending time with Tyson. It is so nice to have him home all day. I only get that every other weekend!

Quilt

I started a quilt 2 YEARS ago. It has been an on going project. I started the summer of 2010, didn't get very far. Then in 2011 I did some. I started to work on it again in 2012, but I messed up the sewing machine some how so I gave up. Well my mom came up to visit and it FINALLY got done. Thanks so much mom for finishing it for me. (And it only took her 2 days!)

This picture was taken in 2010. When I first started.

Working hard, THANK YOU MOM!

FINALLY FINISHED!!! YAY

June 16, 2012

Tyson and I had a pretty productive day. We woke up at 8 ish and got ready to go to a garage sell to look at baby clothes for Abigail. We didn't have much luck. We then went to his parents house and washed his car. Once that was done we came back home and I pulled weeds while Tyson mowed the grass. Tyson then went and got a hair cut and I made my 4th of July wreath. Tyson had a girl he worked with get married today so we then went to her reception. We also had a date at the bowling alley where we had dinner. Because we are boring people we went and hung out with his parents. It felt so good outside. After talking for a while we decided to go for a fourwheeler ride. Once we got back his sister came home and we hung out with them. It was so nice to just be able to hang out all day. We don't get to do that very much during the week because Tyson usually works all day!

Crafty

I went to the DI the other day looking for jars to make something I found on Pinterest. Well they didn't have any. Instead I found some block letters.(USA) I decided I could use them to make a wreath. Tyson and I went to JoAnn's and found some burlap and stars that I could use to go with it. I think it turned out to be pretty cute!

I just have one problem, because there is so much weight on just one side it won't hang straight. So Tyson is going to be smart and fix it for me!!!(He just doesn't know it yet!)

Summer Games

On the 14th Cedar City held the Opening Ceremony for the Summer Utah Games. Tyson and I went with Thayne and Jenny! Nitro Circus came and did a show and also a music group from Provo, Utah called Remix preformed. Nitro circus was totally worth it to watch, although I was nervous the whole time. Motorcycles, skateboarder, bikers, and crazy stunt people all did kinds of tricks.

Remix, we didn't have the best seat so we had to watch it on the big screen

Skateboarder on bigger wheels.

These two went and did a jump... They didn't quite make it the first time. But did better the second time. The front controlled the gas and the back controlled the brakes. (Something like that)

They also jumped on a garbage can. And the person in the wheel chair also did some jumping!

This kid in on his way to London for the Olympics. He runs for SUU Track. It was a pretty big deal!
