Houston Texas

Tuesday we headed out to Houston. Tyson wanted to look at UTI down there. One of the main reasons we went to Texas was to check this school out. And to see family. We were thinking about moving down there maybe in March or April so that Tyson could go to school. (On the way home he didn't like the 22 hour drive and is now mentioning going to Phoenix, AZ) We will see what he decides he wants to do. 

This could potentially be our next home town. I don't know if I like the big city yet.

While we were in Houston we went to the Temple. It is so nice to just get away from all the stress of the world and relax in the temple!

We made it to TEXAS!!! We stayed with Granny the first day and took her to dinner that

 night. Gem and Caleb met us there for dinner! After we ate we drove around the town of Taylor, Texas. Not much to see but my mom insisted we take a picture with the sign.

Thanks to Granny for letting us stay with her! 

This was our rental car. Jeep, Grand Cherokee. It was roomy and had cool air conditioned seats! That was my favorite part! It can get HOT in Texas!

Hoogle Zoo

Abigail invited me to go with her early to Salt Lake to take Katelee to the zoo. We had lots of fun in the hot sun!

We watched the bird show. It was so cool to watch all the birds fly in and see the tricks they could do!

Later that night there was a pot luck dinner at the Park. We have some family that sells fireworks and today was the last day to set them off so Caleb, Jared and my mom went and got fireworks from them. We had a great time at Tamara's house lighting them all off. There were lots of kids and lots of fireworks! 

Teerlink Reunion

We had our Teerlink Family Reunion. We had it at Wheeler Farms. It is always great to see family and hang out.

They had a yummy Ice cream machine!

We also went on a wagon ride. It took us to see the rest of Wheeler Farms.
