4th of July

Not having any real plans we decided to go Shopping, Car Showing, and Swimming.
We hung out with the Ellsworths and had a fun time with them. We went shopping at the mall and then decided to have a little BBQ at our pool. Jill and I went on got some small fireworks to do by ourselves because we were at the pool still when all the BIG fireworks were going on.

When we went shopping we stopped at Dick's and bought tube to do the Salt River again. After some failed attempts at find the drop off spots and pick ups and not knowing we needed parking passes we decided to head to lake and float around. Not as exciting but we got our tan on and that's what matters!

Salt River

We have wanted to go to the Salt River in Mesa ever since we moved down here. We finally went with the Ellsworths and will definitely be going back. It was long but we had a good time floatin.

 

Side note:

I was asked to go to Girls Camp and be a Cabin Mom and help out with our ward. It was much different than what I am used to. But it was a great experience and I am glad I was able to go and help out.

California Trip

We had a little Vacation to California with some friends. We left Friday (May 30th) after I got off work. Saturday morning we got up and went to see the sites. We started in Laguna Beach (because we had watch the TV show's!) We stopped at the Surf Shop, had lunch, and headed to the beach.

We hung out on Laguna Beach then headed to New Port Beach and rented tandem bikes. It wasn't as hard as we thought it would be, just when you stop then have to start again.
We had dinner with our friends uncle and then went to get ice cream.
It was such a fun time and we are hoping we can go back soon!! 

Memorial Weekend

Memorial Weekend we were able to visit our families.
Friday and Saturday we were able to be with Tyson's Family. Friday we went to dinner and then went to visit some friends. Saturday we traveled up to Panguitch Lake and went four wheeling, fishing, and had yummy dutch oven for dinner and then headed home. On our way home it started to snow... Not what we were expecting.

 Sunday we went to Church and then headed to Mesquite. We had homemade Cafe Rio for lunch then hung out for the rest of the day.

Monday we got up and went swimming at the Rec Center then headed back to Phoenix. It was a fun filled weekend with lots of Family Time. We are grateful we were able to visit.

Tyson Graduates

My little smarty pants graduated! Proud moment! He has put in so much work this last year and graduated with 10 awards for top in his class! Not to mention excellent attendance and National Honor Society. Love you Tyson!

Update

It has been a while since an update. We did a couple things but not super exciting!

We went to another hockey game

We went to the GoodGuys Car Show

We had a little date night. You eat dinner while you watch a movie. We saw Divergent.

I had a birthday!I got a new vacuum and had Cheesecake factory for dinner.

We went to the Temple. 

It was very bright outside!

 And that's about what happened the last little while!

Trip Home

We took a little trip home because we need to register the car again and meet Tazden.

I had a little bonding time with the girls. I miss their little happy faces! 

They needed a midnight snack!

 The next day we got up and went to see Baby Tazden.

We went to Cedar and did all the errand we needed to do. We hung out with the family and had dinner and played games. Sunday we went to church and then had lunch with the family and headed back to Riverside and had lunch again with my family.
