Christmas 2012

Christmas Eve was spent at Cory and Sara Jane's house. We had Pasta Buffet which was yummy! They played a game and then we watched Joy to the World for our family home evening.

Opening Christmas Eve Present

Basketball Shorts!
On Christmas day, Tyson told Zach if he called him at 6 AM we would come over to watch them open presents. So of course we got the call and went over there. It is always funner when kids are around.
Zach had been asking for a four wheeler and his parents kept teasing him he was just power wheels! Inside the box were the helmets

Andy and Maddy opening their helmets
Their  new for wheelers... Lucky kids!
After watching them open their presents and playing with them for a while we went back home and opened our presents.

Christmas Trains

Tyson and I headed down to Mesquite on the 21st to go to Colton & Megan's Reception. We were sad we couldn't make it to the temple, but the reception was really nice and We are so happy for them!

At the Reception
Only picture I got of them but I think its worth it!
On Saturday we hung out at Abigail and Walter's house. We had a competition making Trains. Abigail made them with her Kindergarten class and had extra stuff so of course we had to see what everyone could come up with.

All our creations!

Making candy Trains

After we were done making trains we decided to go gamble for the first time. Tyson spent $10 and I spent $11. But Tyson made up for it by WINNING $63!
This was our first and probably last time. We have decided it's not really all it's talked up to be!

TYSON WON!!!

Bitter Sweet

We have moved on from the apartments. It is so nice not to have to worry about all the problems that come with taking care of 65+ students. It was a really nice apartment and spacious for Tyson and I. Now we are back into Tyson's parents house until we can save up enough money to move on to Phoenix.
Goodbye to Apt. #1

We moved because I GOT A JOB!!! The owners didn't like that I wouldn't be home as much anymore and they like it when someone was there 24/7. I did it for 8 months and decided I couldn't stay home anymore. It got extremely boring.
It is finally nice to be having 2 incomes and hopefully we get all out of debt and be able to move forward in our next step in life.

Thanksgiving 2012

Tyson and I were able to spend Thanksgiving with his family and then I was able to go down to Mesquite to see my family. Tyson had to work Friday and Saturday and so I took up the chance to go see my family.
Katelee was pretty excited to see me!
When I got there they were all taking a walk to the "zoo" (Bundy's Farm, but Katelee calls it the zoo!)
Looking at Jared on top of the hill with his fourwheeler

Taking our walk

When we got back we played a game and then left and went Black Friday shopping at Wal-Mart.
Wal-Mart was extremely CRAZY. There were way too many people there.

Black Friday Results

At the preschool we made these little turkey's for the kids. I think they turned out pretty cute!

Halloween

Tyson talked me into dressing up. Although, it wasn't anything big I did do something for him. We had a ward party that we went to. And then when we got back home Tyson wanted to watch a scary movie but instead we ended up watching The Nightmare before Christmas. Actually.... Tyson watched it while I fell asleep. But I was with him and that's what counts!
Kool Aid... Nothing great, but it was something.

We were really boring this year. We didn't even carve pumpkins but I did have to decorate one for work. This was what I came up with. Duct Tape!

Dad's Birthday

I went down with Naomi and Kyle (Tyson had to work) to celebrate my dad's birthday. He turned 60 and we had a party for him. Friday night we went down because Katelee was performing at the half time football game as a cheerleader. And it was the last home game before zone and all those games.
She is in there... Second row, second to the right.

Little Cheerleader!
I went and stayed with my mom and helped her clean up and get things ready for Saturday. We had a BBQ Party. My dad is from Texas and we thought we would make it a day for him and what he likes to eat.
HAPPY 60th  BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!
