Thanksgiving weekend

On Friday we had Naomi's bridal shower so that my aunts that were down could come. We had soup, salad, and rolls. I think it turned out pretty good. I am just glad that it is over!!!

On Saturday Naomi went through the Temple to get her endowments. It is so nice to go back to the temple and to be able to feel the spirit and learn more. I love going to the temple! After we went and ate at Golden Corral.

Because we brought the four wheeler down we decide we should probably use it.We went with Rose and Layne and all their kids up onto the mesa. We had a nice little ride until the handlebars came off of one of the little four wheelers! It was quite a little adventure. But HEY what's life without a little unexpected events!

We had such a great weekend and didn't want to come back to reality. But only 2 more weeks left of school! YAY!

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving this year Tyson and I went down to my mom's house. Because of the funeral my aunts and uncles from Missouri were still down. It was great to be able to see them a little bit more and hang out and have a yummy dinner together.

After dinner/lunch we went shooting. All the boys lined up and played Annie Oakley. It was a little scary having so many guns around.

I am very grateful for my wonderful husband who does so much for me and puts up with me! Who always is making me laugh and making sure I am happy! I love you Tyson!!!

Around 10 that night Abigail, Tyson and I went to St. George to go Black Friday Shopping. We got a couple good deals but I don't know if I'm really that big of a fan of big crowds and HUGE lines. Not sure if I want to go back next year. So now we are pretty much done Christmas shopping. ( Will have to stay connected to see what we got!!!)

 Hope you all had a

Saturday, November 19, 2011

I was on Facebook Monday morning and noticed that one of my cousins posted a link saying stuff about his brother, David Darger and how he was so amazing and he will be missed. I was really confused at first but then I kept looking at other family members and notice that my cousin had passed away in a car accident. It was very unexpected. But I remember David as being so happy and upbeat. He always had something funny to say and was just all around a fun person to be around. Friday the 18th Tyson, Kyle, Naomi, and I all drove up to Provo together and stayed the night. The funeral was on Saturday. We had a lunch and visited with family. It was nice to see so many people that I hadn't seen for a while. After we went to Cabelas with Abigail and Walter to let Katelee see the animals. Then we drove home.

Halloween

For Halloween we got together with some friends and played, How to Host a Murder. I though it was really fun and a little different. In the game each person is a character, it give suggestions oh what to wear. So for Halloween we all dressed up as our character. I think it turned out to be a pretty cool night. Even if our ice cream and root beer didn't turn out. :(

Cookies

I decided I wanted to decorate cookies. Or do something different for Halloween. I thought the cookies were really good. Even though Tyson and I never really sat down and actually decorated together. We were always on the go. But I think all the people we gave them to enjoyed them. Even if they didn't they said they were good, so hopefully they were all telling the truth!!!! But these are some of our cookies that we decorated. Not anything great, but a good little memory!

My not so great of decorating skills
