I started a quilt 2 YEARS ago. It has been an on going project. I started the summer of 2010, didn't get very far. Then in 2011 I did some. I started to work on it again in 2012, but I messed up the sewing machine some how so I gave up. Well my mom came up to visit and it FINALLY got done. Thanks so much mom for finishing it for me. (And it only took her 2 days!)

This picture was taken in 2010. When I first started.

Working hard, THANK YOU MOM!

June 16, 2012

Tyson and I had a pretty productive day. We woke up at 8 ish and got ready to go to a garage sell to look at baby clothes for Abigail. We didn't have much luck. We then went to his parents house and washed his car. Once that was done we came back home and I pulled weeds while Tyson mowed the grass. Tyson then went and got a hair cut and I made my 4th of July wreath. Tyson had a girl he worked with get married today so we then went to her reception. We also had a date at the bowling alley where we had dinner. Because we are boring people we went and hung out with his parents. It felt so good outside. After talking for a while we decided to go for a fourwheeler ride. Once we got back his sister came home and we hung out with them. It was so nice to just be able to hang out all day. We don't get to do that very much during the week because Tyson usually works all day!

I went to the DI the other day looking for jars to make something I found on Pinterest. Well they didn't have any. Instead I found some block letters.(USA) I decided I could use them to make a wreath. Tyson and I went to JoAnn's and found some burlap and stars that I could use to go with it. I think it turned out to be pretty cute!

I just have one problem, because there is so much weight on just one side it won't hang straight. So Tyson is going to be smart and fix it for me!!!(He just doesn't know it yet!)

Summer Games

On the 14th Cedar City held the Opening Ceremony for the Summer Utah Games. Tyson and I went with Thayne and Jenny! Nitro Circus came and did a show and also a music group from Provo, Utah called Remix preformed. Nitro circus was totally worth it to watch, although I was nervous the whole time. Motorcycles, skateboarder, bikers, and crazy stunt people all did kinds of tricks.

Remix, we didn't have the best seat so we had to watch it on the big screen

Skateboarder on bigger wheels.

These two went and did a jump... They didn't quite make it the first time. But did better the second time. The front controlled the gas and the back controlled the brakes. (Something like that)

They also jumped on a garbage can. And the person in the wheel chair also did some jumping!

Motorcycles jumping

This kid in on his way to London for the Olympics. He runs for SUU Track. It was a pretty big deal!

Fireworks at the end!!!

Also, Happy Flag Day
But Most important....

He is on Trek and was not allowed any electronic devices. I want to at least let him know he was thought of on his special day!!! (Too bad he was out in the HOT desert walking at least 5-10 miles!!! )

Ashlynn's Blessing

Tyson and I headed down to Mesquite. Ashlynn was being blessed on the 3rd so we went down on Friday to hang out. On Saturday we went to the Rec Center to go swimming. Rose and Layne came down for the blessing. It was so fun to hang out with them too.

Sunday was the blessing. Ashlynn is a little cutie and her dress was beautiful also.

My little shadow! She wouldn't go to anyone for a while. And she wanted me to help her do everything. It's a good thing she is cute!

I don't know why it turned.

This one too..

We had lunch/dinner out at my moms house. Once everyone was gone Abigail and my mom were trying to get a good picture of Ashlynn. Katelee and I were playing with the fan and a balloon. She thought it was pretty cool.

I think someone else was taking a picture and their flash messed it up. But isn't she just a little cutie?!
