Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving Weekend was filled with Family, Fun, and Some Work.

Thursday before dinner we went to the 2014 car show. It is where they display the new cars that are coming out this next year.

$350,000 Car

Sara Jane's family was kind enough to invite us over for their Thanksgiving dinner.

We had fun hanging out and playing games. We are so grateful we didn't have to cook our own dinner. (That could have been bad! :) )

Friday Tyson and I had to work so that is how our day was spent until night time. We all ventured to the Mesa Temple to see the Christmas lights!

Everyone was smiling but Tyson...

We were so Happy Tyson's parents could come visit us. It was nice having them down for the Holiday.

Saturday we had lunch at a pizza place and then went and looked at the nice houses by Scottsdale. Later we had dinner and played games and watched a movie.

Sunday we set up our Christmas tree. Then had some friends over to play games.
Our week was so busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. It was nice to be doing things and not thinking about my first Thanksgiving without my family.

Words from Tyson: Every man should have a mustache at least once in his life.
I think its safe to say his one time is over with. I think he looked pretty silly! At least we got a good laugh out of it. And he did have it for a full day.

Hockey

Our good friends the Tunk's ended up getting some tickets to the Coyotes Hockey Game. It was a last minute thing and we are happy we went. Hockey is much more entertaining then I ever imagined! We will definitely be going to another game!

Happy Birthday Tyson

Tyson turned 26 this year. Because he got new tools that were pretty pricey he didn't want me to spend a lot of money on him. I'm sure it was a boring birthday for him but he will enjoy his tools!

3rd Anniversary

Happy 3rd Anniversary! We celebrated by going out to Cheesecake Factory.
Can't wait to spend forever with this amazing man of mine!

Yummy Snickers and Red Velvet Cheesecake
I love this man!

Still having fun after 3 years!

Side note.... Some friends were getting a new couch so we bought their old one! We used the excuse of our Anniversary coming up. And not to mention we were in need of a new couch! So it all kinda worked out! So.. Happy Anniversary to us.

New Place

We have ventured out and tried a new place to eat. It was really good and have already been back. Plus on some nights they do live music so it ends up being a nice little date with some entertainment!

Trip Home

Unfortunately this trip was not planned. We ended up deciding to go home Friday at about noon and left at about 7pm. Tyson's grandpa passed away and for him to be able to go it was cheaper for us to drive to Cedar then have him go with his parents to the funeral. I would have loved to been able to go but I didn't dare ask for work off with my situation and to travel 10 hour in one night would have been miserable for us. The funeral was on Monday. He flew back to Phoenix on Monday night. So instead I drove back alone Sunday night and worked Monday. But... Saturday we spent the day in Cedar watching the little ones play football. Katelee wanted to come along with us and Jared had nothing to do so he also came along for the ride. It was great to see family again. We had dinner at Taste of Hawaii. And then I drove back to Mesquite.

I missed this little girl

So cute to see these two play together. I am glad I get to be both of their Aunt.

Baseball Game

Tyson bought some packet thing for $25 gift certificate to dinner and then it had some tickets for baseball games. We invited our new friends the Tunks and had a great time watching the D-backs win against the LA Dodgers.

Update

I think its time for an update since we don't ever do anything exciting...

Tyson- He switched to morning classes a while ago because he got a new job. Originally he was working at Jiffy Lube with no potential for growth and making practically nothing. So when he heard of a new job he jumped on it and is now working for a Ford Dealership. He now goes to school at 7:30AM-12:00PM then work from 1:00PM-6:00PM or whenever he gets off. Then every other Saturday he works. He has been doing really in his classes as well. He has gotten top in the class 4/5 or 5/6 times. I can't remember how many he has taken so far! He also got a new calling to be in the Young Men. So I don't ever see him on Tuesdays anymore. He is a very busy man! But I am so proud of him for doing so well in school (not that it seems hard just takes a lot of time) and serving faithfully. He has a lot on his plate right now but still takes the time to be with me. He has been such a good help to me as I kinda struggle being in Phoenix.

Hannah- I am working as a temp for Apartment Complexes. I get switched around so much that it has become hard to enjoy what I do. I am constantly learning new ways to do things at each place I go to. And I never know what my schedule will be. But don't get me wrong I appreciate the work. :) So if anyone out there (that is reading this) has hookups in Phoenix, Please let me know! I need a regular job not this getting shuffled around everywhere stuff! I also have a calling to teach the CTR 6 Class. Lets just say... its a challenge sometimes. There are usually 8-11 kids in the class. Sometime it gets a little hectic but I am definitely learning a lot!

As you see we are always busy with work so that is why we don't get out much and do fun things! Although, we do have tickets to a baseball game coming up! So more on that to come....

Last Friday we did go on a little date to Texas Roadhouse then Red Boxed a movie and had a little movie night! But, I was so exhausted and ended up falling asleep!

Weekend Trip

We went home for a weekend because it was one that we both had off and we didn't know when our next one would come up. We only had two days to visit family in Cedar and Mesquite. To say the least it was pretty busy weekend for it being a "vacation." (And I'm not much of a picture taker. So its kinda boring post!)
Friday when Tyson got off work we headed out and got to Riverside about 12:30AM. Tyson went to bed and I stayed up and talked with My Mom and Aunt Von.
Saturday we got up early and left to go to Cedar. We did a few errands. Then watched Tyson's nephew play football.
Rained SOO Much

Tyson's dad was nice enough to make yummy dutch oven for dinner for all the family. It was so nice to see everyone and visit.

Sunday we headed back to Mesquite to have lunch with my family. We took some people out of church to get a visit in with them. We just wish we could have hung out more. But After hanging out for a while we got back on the road and made the LONG BORING trip back to Arizona.
I sure missed this silly girl!

It started raining so we asked Katelee if she wanted to wash the car. And surprisingly did.
