Weekend

This weekend has been pretty crazy. Naomi and I went home on Friday. We had Katelee's 1 year birthday party. On the way home we were talking and saying a year ago we were driving home to see her after she came home from the hospital. This year has flown by. It seems just like yesterday she was born!

So I had a stupid moment before we went to my parent's house to have the party. Naomi and I had stayed at Abigail and Walter's house Friday night. Naomi brought some wax to wax our eye brows so I was warming it up in the microwave so that it was liquid enough to put on our eye brows. I put it in for 2 minutes but took it out before the 2 minutes were up. Well it was HOT when I went to take it out I dropped it and it splattered all over me. I got burnt in a couple spots on my face, arm and hand. My thumb got the worse of it tho! Let's just say I will never put the wax in for that long. Lesson learned. And I will probably never trust Abigail's microwave again. That thing is powerful!!! (Sorry no pictures!)

Jared got asked by Amber Black to go to Cheer Review. He looked pretty handsome in his tux! And I really liked her dress. Jared escorted her and they danced a song with all the other cheer leaders. This is the first time Virgin Valley has done a Cheer Review and I thought it was pretty cool.

Sunday morning Naomi and I drove back up to Cedar. When I got home I was so tired. I took a shower and went back to sleep. Tyson had to wake me up so that I could go to work. I went to work for about an hour and then Naomi came in for me so I could go eat dinner with his Family. It is his Mom's birthday this week so all the family was there. It's great to have everyone get together. And HAPPY BIRTHDAY TONYA!


This weekend has been busy and this coming week I have a big project due on Tuesday (that I procrastinated) so things will be busy for me on Monday. Hopefully things will calm down by the end of the week. But then the weekend will probably be crazy again! The weekends never seem to last long enough! But I hope everyone has a great week!

News

In case you haven't heard yet... Tyson and I will moving to Lancaster, Pennsylvania for the summer. I don't really know all the details but we will be leaving the beginning of May, probably the 6th. Tyson will be selling security systems for Select Security. And I will be working in the office. We are excited to see what else is out there in the world instead of just in Utah. We figure if he doesn't do well it will be about what we could be making here in Cedar City. And we aren't making that much here!! So hopefully he will do really well but if not we have my income in the office...

We went to Salt Lake on the 11th of March and ate at Rodizio's Grill (which is AMAZING!) with the owner of this company and we really liked him. We thought it was really cool that the owner came and met us before we went out there. He was really nice and answered any question we had and just got to know us more. I think we are excited to go but then freaked out at the same time. Just because we don't really know what to expect and we don't know anyone out there. But it will be a good learning experience for both of us. And we will be away from family so we might appreciated what we have here. That is going to be the hardest part for me is being away from my family!

I guess this is where a lot of Amish live. So that could be interesting!!! If all else fails we will be able to see something that we don't usually see!

Temple- March 19, 2011

We got back from Disneyland on Thursday and went to dinner with my mom, Abigail, Walter, and Katelee. We went to Los Lupes. And of course it was yummy!!! Tyson had to be to work on Friday morning but decided to stay the night and drive back up to Cedar the next morning. I had an Orthodontist and Dentist appointment on Friday so I stayed home and my mom brought me to St. George on Saturday to meet Tyson half way. We decided to go to the Temple. We haven't been back since we got married. I never wanted to go alone because I don't know what to do and I probably won't for a long time. So it was nice to have my mom there to help me. (Thanks Mom for driving me up to St. George and helping me!)

I am so grateful for the blessings we receive from going to the Temple. And that we can be with our Families Forever. I don't know what I would do without my Family and I love them so much! I am also grateful that Tyson and I will be together forever too. Going to the temple makes me realize I need to go back as often as I can.

Spring Break- Day 1

For Spring Break we decided to get away for a while! And what better place to than THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH...aka DISNEYLAND!!! We wanted to go somewhere warm and California is the closest but farthest place we could get away to. We invited Josh, Bailey, and Braxton. It was so much fun and I think we all had a blast and needed the vacation.

On Monday we drove down to Anaheim and check into the hotel. We stayed at the Hotel Menage. It was really nice and the best part was the pool was open 24/7. After we got check in we headed over to Disneyland. Disneyland doesn't advertise this very much I don't think but you can get a Switch Rider Pass if you have a baby, so that was really nice. One couple would wait in like and then after they were done with the ride the next couple could walk up the exit or go on the Fast Pass Line. So that was really really nice!

When we got back from Disneyland we went swimming. It was about 10PM and the water was warm, because of the heated pool. There is no way we could have done that in Cedar City at this time of year so that was exciting!

Spring Break- Day 2

Tuesday we woke up early and went to Magic Morning. We went on the rideds that we really wanted to go on before it got way too busy. At about 10 we left the park and went and ate at Denny's then we had to go back to check out of the hotel. We ended up doing late check out so we all took a nap then packed everything up and headed to our other hotel. We stayed at the Hilton for the next two days. After we got everything situated we went shopping. And then went and ate at Olive Garden. Then went back to Disneyland/California Adventure some more.

We decided to get bus passes so we didn't have to walk because no one was in the mood to walk more then we absolutely had to! And we didn't really know how long and how to get back to Disneyland from that hotel. I don't think I have ever ridden a city bus, but I learned they run off of batteries. The driver said it was just like a golf cart but MUCH bigger!!!

Spring Break- Day 3 & 4

Wednesday... We went to California Adventrue. We finally figured out how to work the system and so it was so much better and more enjoyable the final day, instead of waiting in LONG lines. We got Fast Passes and then also Switch Rider passes and so we didn't have to wait in line as long, and we got to go on more rides.

We really want to go on a Cruise but this is the closest we are going to get to going on one for a while!

The little Show Girls (Not really cuz this was on It's a Small World) are behind them but you can't see... They were threatening us that they were going to go to the clubs in Vegas while we were driving through! So we thought it was kinda funny that they got to see some!!!

Thursday we packed up and drove back home. It was a great vacation and I'm not realy to go back to school on Monday.
